Walking late at night down a snowy trail, thinking about the path beneath my feet. Wondering if it is right or if another trail would have been better followed. It is sometimes a dark and treacherous way, leading in directions unknown, full of surprises: some good, some "not so good." Looking back down the trail, now clear in retrospect, and marveling at all that was along the way.
And, unexpectedly ahead, an amazing sight... trees of light, surreal in the dark cold air, but bright and welcoming. A beckoning, comforting beacon, reassuring that, regardless of choice, this is the correct path to be on. Wherever the trail leads, it will be good, full of love and experiences and life.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Hoping your paths are good and lead you where you want to go.
