Interpretation: a slice of San Francisco

San Francisco is most probably my favorite US city and Chinatown has got to be my favorite section of the city. The variety of sights, colors and light are almost sensory overload for a photographer...

An Afternoon in Boston

Blew off an afternoon riding the train into Boston and just wandering around... started at the Harbor (the locals call it the Hahhbah) and worked my way in and around, ending up at the largest Christmas tree in New England.

The Harbor... just past Legal Seafood (yes, I did stop and eat there!)

Not a clue what the lobstah and the cow are for... the sign was in an empty alley

If you have never been to downtown Boston, there are lots of narrow, twisting alleys with businesses facing out into them.

The Quincy Market... kind of touristy (actually a lot touristy), but a great old building... courtesy of new wide angle toy.

They do a light and music show using the tree as the principle character. This is actually three images taken in the dark combined into one (which explains why it is a tad fuzzy)

This is not actually Boston, it is in North Andover. It rained continuously for three days before my excursion into the city (amazing for those of us from places where we count the numbers of days it rains with our fingers). The "raindrops" are actually ice.

On the Road again...

Driving from Sterling, Colorado to Denver. Decided I needed to take a break and stretch my legs. Took the next exit in the middle of nowhere and found... it went nowhere! A one lane tunnel under the highway and  livestock gates on both sides.
That was all!
(and there is an exit there because... ????)
